In his book, "The Purpose Driven Life," Rick Warren reminds us that we are not just called to believe but also to belong."Even in the perfect, sinless environment of Eden, God said, 'it is not good for man to be alone.' We are created for community, fashioned for fellowship, and formed for a family, and none of us can fulfill God's purposes by ourselves." The United Methodist Church proclaims that "Christ constitutes the church as his body by the power of the Holy Spirit. The church draws new people into itself as it seeks to remain faithful to its commission to proclaim and exemplify the gospel."

We are blessed to be a part of a growing community of faith here at Still Waters. We pray that all who have taken vows of membership will continue to be faithful in supporting us through prayers, gifts, time, and service as we find the lost, release the captive, and develop disciples of Jesus.
