MAY - The whiff of a charcoal grill, the aroma of sliced white onions, and the sizzle of bratwurst always spell the beginning of summer for Still Waters Church!  Our annual brat fry is held on the second weekend of May - rain or shine or snow!  We have brats in our blood and are ready for the dancing pigs...it's one of our favorite traditions! Join us for the biggest brats around!  Funds raised support the Still Waters Youth Ministry.

MAY - Join us for a fun time of work and fellowship in May as we come together to clean up our church and church grounds for spring! There's work for every skill and ability.  Inside we wash windows, dust woodwork and polish furniture.  Outside we prune, mulch, rake, plant and more. Grab your work gloves and join us as we meet friends, chase away winter cobwebs, and help make our church home sparkle!

MAY THRU OCTOBER - Appearance is important and keeping the church lawn well maintained is an important ministry.  We will be setting up a pool of volunteers on a rotating schedule to help with the lawn mowing this season.  If you are interested in being part of this team, please contact Mary Lou at 262-677-1311.

  • "TP the County" paper products drive

LENTEN SEASON - Each year during the Lenten Season we collect tons of toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, wipes, bar soap, etc to give as “Love Gifts” to local non-profit agencies in Washington County. These items add a huge expense to non-profit budgets. If you have ever visited a food pantry you realize how valuable toilet paper and diapers are. Please bring your donated items in anytime during Lent, by Easter, March 27th, and place them on the floor by the SAM board. Help us “TP the County”!

ADVENT - Poverty and food insecurity are on the rise in Wisconsin communities. Still Waters Church, along with other churches and local organizations, work to support food pantries in Washington County whose mission is to directly serve local residents who suffer from hunger and food insecurity within the community. Through this effort, Still Waters strives to strengthen the emergency food systems by taking steps to increase both the amount and nutritional value of food available at food outlets such as local food pantries. While we support this effort year-round, we make a special effort to gather non-perishable food items during Advent season to help our neighbors in need.

CHRISTMAS - The Gingerbread House Gift Giving Program provides holiday support to many Washington Country individuals and families who do not have adequate resources to meet their basic needs. Gifts of new clothing, toys and other items are gathered through the support of donors. Our Gingerbread House Christmas tree is decorated with numbered paper tags. Each tag has the first name, age and gender of a person in need of presents, along with desired gift suggestions. Contributors remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the person described on the tags. Gifts are gathered from Thanksgiving through mid-December and delivered to the Gingerbread House for distribution in time for Christmas.
