During these challenging times we will be experiencing changes to our days and our lives. Our staff is actively considering how we are to be the church in such a time as this. We are looking at how we will be the Body of Christ in a new way. Please continue to watch for church emails and check the website for information about how we will function as a church, provide spiritual support, provide for online giving, and more.
It’s that time! As many of you know, Christmas Store is an AMAZING ministry in our congregation. In the past it has been an event in December that gives people that are struggling financially a dignified way to shop for their children and experience the joy on Christmas morning of seeing their children opening gifts that they purchased. Prices at the store are a fraction of regular retail but parents are empowered by buying gifts in this Hand-Up not Hand-Out program.
We know that due to COVID-19, Christmas Store will need to be drastically changed in terms of how it will function this year. However, we also know that this year more than ever, we want to continue this ministry in whatever form we can. SO, we are running our Christmas in July program. This simply means that you can contribute toward an amazing Christmas for a family that is struggling this year. Checks can be made to Still Water Church with “Christmas” in the memo.

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is the leading hunger-relief organization in the state, operating food banks in Milwaukee and the Fox Valley. Still Waters Church has been given a wonderful opportunity to partner with Feeding America to help feed Washington County.
Before COVID-19, 10,000 pounds of food was being distributed in Washington County weekly. This is no longer happening. To help fill the void, Still Waters Church has offered to be a mobile pantry. Feeding America will deliver pallets of perishable foods. Our volunteers will package the food into bags and place packages into vehicles as they pass through our parking lot...drive-thru style!
Volunteer opportunities are available!
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. While we are unable to attend worship services in person, we will celebrate Holy Communion together, but separately in our homes. If you would like to join us, please plan to have the elements at your house, including any kind of bread or cracker, and grape or other juice. During our online worship, our Pastor will bless the elements in your home from our church, and we will partake from wherever we are. We consider this a very sacred act that we can do knowing that the power of God’s spirit is not confined to a church building.
