The ‘Still Waters Kids’ children’s ministry program is sure excited for a new school year. It is our prayer

that we create a space that allows the child to connect with God’s word, learn to walk like Jesus, share

their faith journey with family & friends (new and old), and interact with our ministry anywhere they

As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 Pandemic and follow guidelines given by the CDC, all plans are subject to change. Our current plan is to offer ‘Still Waters Kids’ during the 9am and 10:30am service on Sundays in a large group setting starting the first week in September. In addition to in person offerings, we will also be offering a virtual ‘Still Waters Kids’ during the 10:30am service.

Come October, the 3rd-5th graders will split off and partake in a 9-week Bible Bootcamp. This is a program to help the students understand the layout of The Bible, how to navigate The Bible, and how to understand the content in The Bible.

mission:  Deep Sea

Day 1: My faith grows deeper when I use my gifts. (John 6:1-13)

Day 2: My faith grows deeper when I spend time with God. (Phil 2:5-11)

We had such a fun week learning about how our faith grows deeper! Our kids were junior agents and

on a mission to learn how they can use their gifts and spend time with God to have their faith grow

  • Day 1: Decorated fish with fingerprints and talked about how each one of us is unique.
  • Day 2: Created Deep Sea Scenes with water colors and talked about how God created many amazing creatures on this earth, but sometimes we have to dive deeper to find them!

Games: God Created us all to work as a team.

  • • We played multiple games to remind us that God created us to cheer each other on and work as a team.

  • • Day 1: The S.E.A agents were exploring and learning the exploration window. They learned how to use their special skills to make their team work well together. Teamwork is key. We learned from Whimsey and Dubbo that we take our gifts and use them for others and for God.
  • • Day 2: The S.E.A. Agents were faced with a huge problem that they needed to overcome. By all four agents working as a team they were able to successfully bring the submarine back from a mission altering accident. We learned our faith will grow deeper the more time we spend with God.

Our Still Waters Kids have been studying Perseverance and want to share a few pictures with us. They have been learning about these verses from the Bible:

  • Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. - Hebrews 12:1
  • Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. - Hebrews 12:2
  • I can do all of this through Him who gives me strength. - Philippians 4:13
