Family Promise Fundraising help needed
We are looking for two people that would be willing to coordinate fundraising for Family Promise.  These individuals would help put on various events throughout the year to raise money for both Still Waters and for Family Promise of Washington County.  We have gotten many ideas from people on events we could do to raise money, so now we're looking for a few people that can turn those ideas into reality. The Family Promise board has decided that before we host our first family, as an organization, we should have about $50,000 total dollars raised.  That means that we'll need about $25,000 more before we can begin, so fundraising is a very critical component of the program.  If you are interested in helping out with this, please contact Ally or Aaron Bubb ally.bubb@gmail.com

Then donate them to the plant sale. Starting the weekend of March 13 & 14 you can pick up a Ziploc bag with peat moss in it from the narthex. When the ground thaws put you donated plants in the bag and bring it back to church. These plants will then be for sale for $3.00 each. We will continue the sale until the Jackson rummage where the remaining plants will be sold. Proceeds will benefit Family Promise. Call Kim Schoeckert  (262) 389-9046 with questions.

Since that time, the clinic has expanded to four half days each week at Cross Lutheran, where 300-350 patients are seen each month. Two other Bread of Healing Clinic sites have also opened, one at Eastbrook Church on the third Saturdays of each month; the other at the Agape Center every Wednesday evening. These two sites see an additional 50 patients each month. More information can be found at http://breadofhealingclinic.org. Do you sell on eBay? eBay sellers can give a percentage of their proceeds to a nonprofit certified by MissionFish each and every time they list an item for sale. Participating sellers are rewarded for their generosity with special eBay Giving Works features that help them get more bids and higher sale prices. The nonprofit receives recognition in the listing and benefits from the seller’s success. MissionFish and eBay do the heavy lifting – we collect and distribute the donation, issue tax receipts and keep everyone informed along the way. Still Waters is a certified non profit.
