  • pastoral care

    pastor lori     pastor renae

Pastor Lori and Pastor Renae are available when you need help. Caring for a person who is struggling with a difficulty, being present during a time of pain, praying with someone in a crisis—these are the moments when spirits are strengthened and we find hope - this is their calling.  Like shepherds, they care for us on our journey and guide us through dark valleys.

  • stephen ministry

    Robin Jasinski

Stephen Ministers are lay members of our congregation who provide one-on-one Christian care to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated and others facing a crisis or a life challenge. A Stephen Minister will visit with you weekly, listen, offer resources and referrals, if needed, pray with and for you, and offer Christian love and support. They are caring, supportive Christian people who have a desire to be with you in a time of need, grief, or crisis. If you are in need of a Stephen Minister, or know someone who is, or if you would like to learn more about the program, contact Robin.

help managing our health

For John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, physical health was as important as spiritual health. In his 1747 work, "Primitive Physick, or an Easy and Natural Method of Curing Most Diseases", Wesley sought to bring practical medical advice to the people of his time. Still Waters Church continues this important tradition as it ministers to the whole person - mind, body and spirit .

  • blood pressure screening

The First Sunday of every month, one of our a registered nurses offers blood pressure screening.  No preregistration is required - simply drop by Renae's office.

  • hospital stays

Visiting the sick in hospitals is an important part of pastoral ministry. Help is available, but due to the Privacy Act, hospitals are often not able to inform the church office when help is needed. If you or a family member are in the hospital, let us know.
