Mission Trips to Honduras
June 1-8, 2024, July 13-20, 2024 &
October 12-19, 2024
On Sunday, May 26, at the 10:30 worship service, we will commission eighteen Honduras travelers! (Some will be leaving in June, some in July, and some in October). What an exciting time as we pray for all in the work they will be doing! For those who are traveling to Honduras, we will have a meeting after the 10:30 worship service, regardless of which month you will travel. Please plan to stay after. Food will be available for a light lunch through Family Fun Day activities.

June 1 - 8, 2024 Trip
Our team will be traveling to beautiful sunny Honduras! They will get to work alongside folks at the Juan Wesley School in Ciudad España. Some of the activities you might engage in include: playing games, acting out scenarios, and focusing on English pronunciation. Can you believe that playing games actually helps build language skills? It’s also a ton of fun! The kids absolutely love to play Jenga, so brush up on your Jenga skills. A highlight from years past has been baking. We may join some of the women from the community in baking sweet bread! Last year, we were able to make semitas, a traditional sweet bun that can be described as a Honduran scone crusted in sugar. You do not want to miss this! We will also plan to do some light construction in the afternoon depending on needs. Never fear if you aren’t a professional contractor – there is always something for everyone to do.
July 13 - 20, 2024 Trip
Our July team will be traveling to beautiful sunny Honduras! They will get to work alongside folks at Rain of Blessings a church in El Obraje Honduras. Some of the activities you might engage in include: playing soccer, construction, and helping host Vacation Bible Camp, light construction, and volunteering at a Honduran non-profit. Never fear if you’re not a Sunday School teacher, professional athlete or a highly skilled contractor. DO NOT WORRY – there is always something for everyone to do. We may also have a day to visit the students at the Juan Wesley School in Ciudad Espana.
October 12 - 19, 2024 Trip
The October team will be traveling to beautiful sunny Honduras! They will get to meet folks at the Juan Wesley School in Ciudad España. Some of the activities you might engage in include: playing games, acting out scenarios, and focusing on English pronunciation. We could potentially work with a local non-profit in Tegucigalpa in the afternoons. Or we might plan to do some light construction in the afternoon depending on needs. Never fear if you aren’t a professional contractor – there is always something for everyone to do.
