Still Water Youth Ministry
SWYM
Grades 6-12
Our Youth Ministry is called Still Waters Youth Ministry (SWYM) is focused on building a solid faith foundation that will last a lifetime. During this time it's important to learn why we believe what we believe. Learning to make our faith our own, involves spending time with God through prayer, reading the Bible, connecting with God through worship, fun and fellowship. It includes recognizing that God made each one of us unique and special, with specific gifts and talents, and then using those gifts and talents to love God, love others, and influence the world around us.
All Still Waters Youth Ministry (SWYM) groups are currently meeting in person at Still Waters Church unless otherwise specified.
- Still Waters Youth Ministry - We meet regularly on Sunday evenings starting at 6:00 pm.
- Still Waters Youth Praise Team - The youth band practices from 12:00 - 1:00 pm on Sundays.
- Still Waters AV Crew - The audio-visual crew practices from 5:00 - 6:00 pm on Sunday evenings.

Recipe Book
Last year we asked everyone to send in their recipes so we can share our favorites with each other. We realized that we never shared them with you. You can pick one up at the church or download a copy below.
We are also inviting you to submit any recipes that you would like to contribute to our Still Waters Recipe Book. If you’re willing to share your recipes, whether those from a dish you’re bringing to Friendsgiving, or any special recipe that you’d like to share, we will put them together into our first ever Still Waters Family Recipe book which will be available online.

Missions is very important to Still Waters and we’re known for loving Jesus and doing something about it.

Our youth actively fundraise throughout the whole year to support the many planned activities.
Stuff For Parents
The Band App
The Band App is the main form of electronic communication for SWYM. It includes current information about programs and events, twice-daily prayer, SWYM Calendar, photos, video, and serve projects.

We Are Orange
The Orange curriculum that we use while ministering to youth is centered on the church partnering with families. The Church (Yellow) is the light while the Home (Red) is the heart…when those two are combined you get Orange. We believe that the two combined influences make a greater impact than just two individual influences. We are here to walk alongside you and your family no matter what the scenario: spiritually, mentally, physically – we are your village!
