Our team will get to work alongside folks at the Juan Wesley School in Ciudad España. Some of the activities you might engage in include: playing games, acting out scenarios, and focusing on English pronunciation. A highlight from years past has been baking. We may join some of the women from the community in baking sweet bread! Last year, we were able to make semitas, a traditional sweet bun that can be described as a Honduran scone crusted in sugar. You do not want to miss this! We will also plan to do some light construction in the afternoon depending on needs. Never fear if you aren’t a professional contractor – there is always something for everyone to do.
