Family Team

Jena has worked with kids in various capacities from VBS volunteer (both in person and virtually), classroom experience throughout college, daycare, and more! She also serves as a representative of the arts on the board of nonprofit Aspire2STEAM, an organization that gives scholarships to young women pursuing careers in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). Alongside those pursuits, she regularly performs clarinet with her duo, Beyond Boundaries- a clarinet and piano duo, with a focus of bringing social and mental health awareness through unique multimedia recitals and developing new pedagogy through the lenses of emotional intelligence and meta-learning techniques.  Jena currently resides in Waukesha with her husband Jacob, and two cats, Artemis and Hercules. She holds a Bachelors of music degree from Iowa State University and has finishied up her Masters of Music in clarinet performance at University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee.

Lisa’s background includes 20+ years of work in youth services and emergency medical care with the Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCA, Little Switzerland Ski Patrol, Merton Fire Department. Lisa also serves as a Board Member and Community Outreach Co-Chair for Michelle’s Action Angels Community Outreach a Non-Profit Agency founded in the memory her niece.
