The 40 day season prior to Easter called Lent begins with an Ash Wednesday worship service. This is a solemn service that begins our journey of study and reflection as we walk with Jesus to the cross. We will impose ashes on your forehead as a reminder that from dust we came and to dust we will return. We will also celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion. This is a beautiful, quiet, and reflective time as we center our hearts and begin this Lenten journey together!

Family Support Group

February 19 @ 5pm

Join us at Still Waters Community Church for our support group dedicated to those with loved ones affected by addiction. Meeting on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., this welcoming space encourages sharing experiences and feelings. At our meetings confidentiality is assured. Come as you are!

Lent is the 40-day season that precedes Easter. It is a time of reflection, study, and preparation as we symbolically walk with Jesus toward the cross and resurrection. This year, we are again planning a church-wide study! It will begin on February 25th for 5 weeks, we will meet at church for dinner and small groups. 

Mark your calendars if you’ve been thinking that Still Waters is the place you’d like to call your church home! We’ll have a membership class Sunday, March 8, from noon - 2:00 p.m., and then join the church the weekend of March 14/15. Contact Pastor Lori with questions.

Informational Meeting for

Youth, Parents, and Siblings

“The Flock” is the name given to a monthly gathering for an informational meeting for youth, parents, and siblings. Snacks available.

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is the leading hunger-relief organization in the state, operating food banks in Milwaukee and the Fox Valley. Still Waters Church has been given a wonderful opportunity to partner with Feeding America to help feed Washington County.

We start giving out food around 1:30pm or as soon as we are set up.  If you would like to come early you may as we line up the cars in order as they arrive.

Attention all youth being confirmed this May! We are excited to announce our Spring Confirmand Retreat at Camp Whitcomb in Hartland, WI. The retreat will take place from Friday, March 13, at 6:00 p.m. to Sunday, March 15, at 1:30 p.m. 

Join us for Souper Sunday on February 15!…  an awesome meal for our congregation, sponsored by our youth on the third Sunday of each month. Come warm up from the cold weather with the warmth of a great meal/intergenerational fellowship. Free will offering accepted, and proceeds will benefit our amazing youth ministry. Calling all women… come on Sunday, February 15, and enjoy meeting with other women of all ages for planning and fellowship after the 2nd Sunday worship service, approximately 11:45 a.m. Please let us know you are coming.

Men are invited to this monthly men’s breakfast, 3rd Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., meeting at a local restaurant (which switches from month to month). Contact John Haas at 262-617-7004 or by email to sign up for this month’s breakfast! (John calls the restaurant to make a reservation, so please contact him by Tuesday, March 17.)

Save the date: “Impact Night” is coming Sunday evening, March 22! All are invited to come on March 22, 6:00 p.m. and enjoy an awesome evening of fun questions, answers, prizes, dessert auction and more! We’ll have questions geared for all ages, with categories such as “sink or float,” and many other categories.

Spring Forest Retreat

We have finalized and confirmed the dates for our retreat at Spring Forest Retreat Center, North Carolina, in April of 2026! The retreat will be Tuesday and Wednesday, April 28 and 29th, and we will plan to travel on Monday, April 27 and travel back on Thursday, April 30. The cost for the retreat is $300. Additionally, (and probably the larger of the cost) several of us will plan to fly on Monday and Thursday.

2006 Honduras Mission Trip

The application to go on our July 11-18, 2026 Honduras trip is now online! If we could get those applications in by end of January that would be awesome.

Easter Jam

Come join us for our Family Easter celebration called Easter Jam! This year we will be making Resurrection Gardens and enjoy an Easter egg hunt! Easter Jam will be on Saturday, March 28th. Come for a meal at 11:30, activities from noon-1:30. Thanks to our Still Waters Women or helping with the Easter Egg Hunt. This will be a fun and meaningful event!

Quest Camp

Quest camp is a remarkable, ridiculously fun, re-imagined way for youth groups and youth leaders to experience God, encounter Christ, grow closer as a group, and refocus!. Quest camp is for incoming 6th graders through seniors in High School, and this year will be June 21st - 26th.
