Family Support Group

September 17 @ 5pm

Join us at Still Waters Community Church for our support group dedicated to those with loved ones affected by addiction. Meeting on the 3rd Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., this welcoming space encourages sharing experiences and feelings. At our meetings confidentiality is assured. Come as you are!

Fall Confirmand Retreat

Our Fall Confirmand Retreat will be held at Still Waters Friday and Saturday, September 18–19, beginning Friday at 7:00 p.m. and continuing through Saturday’s 5:00 p.m. worship service.

Third Grade Bible

September 20th

On Sunday, September 20, at the 9:00 and 10:30 worship services, we will present our 3rd graders with their very own age- appropriate Bible!  We know that it’s possible some 4th and 5th graders missed this opportunity (for a variety of reasons, new to Still Waters, etc), so if you are a 4th or 5th grader and did not receive a Bible, you are welcome to receive one as well!  Please direct any questions to Jena Metzler.

Color Splash Games

September 20th

6-8pm

Get ready to get colorful! Color Splash Games are coming to Still Waters on Sunday, September 20, from 6:00–8:00 p.m., and all youth in grades 6–12 are invited!  We’re filling the evening with colorful games, crazy challenges, plenty of laughter, and just the right amount of mess. Come ready to run, play, laugh, and probably go home looking a little more colorful than when you arrived! And this is a GREAT night to bring friends! Youth are encouraged to invite other youth in grades 6–12 to come along. Grab a friend (or two!), come join the fun, and get ready to make a colorful mess together! 

Pizza Ranch for Youth

Join us on Monday, September 21, from 4:30–7:30 p.m. at Pizza Ranch in West Bend! Address is 2020 W Washington St., West Bend, WI 53095.



Still Waters youth will be volunteering throughout the evening, and 10% of sales plus tips will benefit Still Waters Youth Ministries. Funds raised will help support opportunities for youth throughout the upcoming season, including retreats, conferences, and other faith-building experiences.  No coupon needed! Just come enjoy dinner, support our youth, and help make these opportunities possible. We hope to see you there!

Book Studies

Fall study groups are starting!  We have two groups, studying the same book.

Holy Yoga

Holy Yoga will start up again this fall, beginning in Tuesday, September 8!  We’ll meet on Tuesdays, 8:45 am.  Donation of $10 each session suggested. No need to sign up- just come! What a great time to try this this intentional practice of connecting with God once per week on Tuesday mornings for an hour! 

30th Anniversary Celebration

September 27th

I am excited to celebrate Still Waters 30th anniversary! Sunday, September 27 we’ll have one worship service at 10:00 a.m., followed by an amazing catered meal (thank you, Scrip!!!!).  We will not have Saturday worship that weekend, since we’ll all gather together Sunday at 10:00.  Mark your calendar, sign up on your Connection Card or online to reserve your spot at the meal.  More information and details will be forthcoming!

Table Setup

On Sunday, September 27, we will need help to ‘turn our sanctuary around’ after the 10:00 worship service and in preparation for our 11:30 celebration lunch. This is one of the ways Still Waters is so amazing! If you can help on Sunday, September 27, from 11:00 - 11:30 to help move chairs and bring tables out in preparation for our Celebration Luncheon, please sign up on the Connection Card or online. Animal Blessing

Furry, feathered, four-legged, and everything in between... They're all invited! Still Waters Youth Ministries invites you and your animal companions to our Animal Blessing on Saturday, October 10, from 2:00–6:00 p.m., concluding with a special indoor worship service from 5:00–6:00 p.m.

The Flock

Fellowship and Informational Meeting for Youth, Parents, and Siblings

“The Flock” is the name given to a monthly gathering for an informational meeting for youth, parents, and siblings. Snacks available.  Sign up online or on the Connection Card.

Feeding America

Join us on Wednesday, October 14 (always the 2nd Wednesday of the month) at 1:00 p.m. for this very important ministry to distribute food to those who are food insecure. On-the-job training is always available; we often have new volunteers each month, so no worries if it’s your first time. We’d love to welcome you!

Peer Mentor Fall Training

All current Peer Mentors and Mentors-in-Training should mark their calendars for our Fall Peer Mentor Training on Saturday, October 17, from 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. at Still Waters. Lunch will be provided.

Safer Sanctuaries Training

It’s time to re-certify! Adults and peer mentors who work with youth, children, or vulnerable individuals are required to complete Safer Sanctuaries Training.  Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 17, from 1:00–3:00 p.m.  Safer Sanctuaries helps equip our faith community with the knowledge and practices we need to create safe, welcoming spaces where everyone can flourish. 

Men's Breakfast

October 21, 8:30 am

Men are invited to this monthly men’s breakfast, 3rd Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., meeting at a local restaurant (which switches from month to month).  Contact John Haas at by email or 262-617-7004 to sign up for this month’s breakfast!  (John calls the restaurant to make a reservation, so please contact him by Tuesday, September 15.)

Souper Sunday

October 25, 11:45 am

Last months “Souper Sunday” was amazing! Thanks to so many who showed as we gathered, connected, laughed, and cared for each other. “Souper Sunday” is an awesome meal for our congregation, sponsored by our youth one Sunday each month. Come for a great meal/intergenerational fellowship. Free will offering accepted, and proceeds will benefit our amazing youth ministry.

Still Waters Women

Calling all women… come on Sunday, October 25, and enjoy meeting with other women of all ages for planning and fellowship after the 2nd Sunday worship service, approximately 11:45 a.m. Enjoy some wonderful soup and lunch from Souper Sunday, and then come on and join us for a time of fellowship, planning, and connection.

Trunk or Treat

Save the date! Sunday, October 25th, from 12:30 -2:30 p.m. we’ll host “Trunk or Treat!” Join us for a wonderful afternoon of treats, s’mores, hot apple cider, photo booth, and more! The event provides a safe family environment for kids to enjoy Halloween!

Be a Trunk

October 25

You can “Be a Trunk”! Come on Sunday, October 19th, with a decorated vehicle trunk, and ready to hand out treats! Come and get your vehicle ‘situated’ 12:00-12:30, and ready to hand out treats from 12:30 - 2:30 as kids/families come by. In the event of rain, we will set up inside the Sanctuary.
