VBS Pizza & Planning

Yes, you read that right! This year we are starting off our VBS planning early to have even more of an impact! If you'd like to get in on the excitement of planning for one of our Children's Ministry major events, we invite you to our Vacation Bible School (VBS) Planning Meeting on Sunday, January 25th, 12:00pm. We'll order pizza and get the creative ideas flowing! Please sign up on the Connection Card or on our website so we'll know of your interest. Contact Jena with any questions.

Family Promise

Our week to partner with Family Promise is coming! The week of January 26th - February 1st, we will be partnering with Family Promise by making dinners for the families experiencing homelessness that are in the program.

Join us as we study Henri Nouwen’s book, “Following Jesus: Finding Our Way Home in an Act of Anxiety.” Without minimizing the anxieties, fears, and brokenness that touch down in every reader’s story, Nouwen gently leads the way into a life that centers on Jesus and engulfs the follower with God’s love, a sense of belonging, and a purpose that endures.

Family Support Group

February 4 @ 5pm

Join us at Still Waters Community Church for our support group dedicated to those with loved ones affected by addiction. Meeting on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., this welcoming space encourages sharing experiences and feelings. At our meetings confidentiality is assured. Come as you are!

If you have been to Honduras, are considering going to Honduras, or especially if you are considering going on this year's mission trip to Honduras, this will be a particularly important gathering. Join Lisa and Pastor Lori on Sunday, February 8, from noon - 1:00 p.m. We’ll have a “lunch and share” as we describe the overall vision and specific plans and more details on the two focus groups (Education or Medical) for our upcoming mission trip, July 11-18, 2026.



“The Flock” is the name given to a monthly gathering for an informational meeting for youth, parents, and siblings. Snacks available. Sign up online or on the Connection Card.

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is the leading hunger-relief organization in the state, operating food banks in Milwaukee and the Fox Valley. Still Waters Church has been given a wonderful opportunity to partner with Feeding America to help feed Washington County.

We start giving out food around 1:30pm or as soon as we are set up.  If you would like to come early you may as we line up the cars in order as they arrive.

Friday, February 13, we will have a dinner and movie night! Dinner at 6:30pm followed at 7:00pm. In addition to the movie in the sanctuary, we will offer a G-rated movie in the back the young or young-in-spirit. A free will offering will be taken to help cover costs of the meal. We will soon name the exact movies to be played! (Sponsored by Still Waters Women, but all are welcome!) 

Join us for Souper Sunday on February 15!…  an awesome meal for our congregation, sponsored by our youth on the third Sunday of each month. Come warm up from the cold weather with the warmth of a great meal/intergenerational fellowship. Free will offering accepted, and proceeds will benefit our amazing youth ministry. Calling all women… come on Sunday, February 15, and enjoy meeting with other women of all ages for planning and fellowship after the 2nd Sunday worship service, approximately 11:45 a.m. Please let us know you are coming.

Still Waters Youth Ministries will be hosting Fat Tuesday Pancake Dinner & Paczki Sale on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026, 5:00 - 7:30pm. The Pancake meal includes pancakes, sausages, milk, and juice. Let us know if you’d like gluten free options. Sign up online if you’d like to participate in the dinner. Proceeds from this event benefit our youth missions and programming. Cost for dinner will be a donation (suggested donation $8 per adult, $5 kids ages 3-11). Paczki flavors, prices, and ordering dates will be determined as time gets closer.

Men are invited to this monthly men’s breakfast, 3rd Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., meeting at a local restaurant (which switches from month to month). Spring Forest Retreat

We have finalized and confirmed the dates for our retreat at Spring Forest Retreat Center, North Carolina, in April of 2026! The retreat will be Tuesday and Wednesday, April 28 and 29th, and we will plan to travel on Monday, April 27 and travel back on Thursday, April 30. The cost for the retreat is $300. Additionally, (and probably the larger of the cost) several of us will plan to fly on Monday and Thursday.

2006 Honduras Mission Trip

The application to go on our July 11-18, 2026 Honduras trip is now online! If we could get those applications in by end of January that would be awesome.
