Jesus didn’t just send the apostles into the community, he sent them out into the WORLD! Since we can’t be everywhere at once, we have a few well-placed partners that help us share the love and compassion of Jesus. We’re out to follow his example and set the world right. Here’s how you can do it with us.

Honduras School Scholarship Opportunities

As we have come back from the first of three trips to Honduras this year, we were amazed at the school where we taught English: Juan Wesley School, which is a school for K-12th grade. This school was started about ten years ago, giving children the option of education over gangs. It is truly a life-saving opportunity, as there is not really enough room in the public school in the area for all the kids. The Juan Wesley School has scholarship opportunities, to help sponsor children. Still Waters folks so far have sponsored six children. Yay!!! There are now five children who still are in need of a sponsor. We will have information about these children, as well as opportunities to “sponsor a classroom/teacher.” With this you can help with supplies etc for individual classrooms and teachers. So much opportunity to truly make a difference! We’ll have more information this weekend.
