Maundy Thursday & Good Friday

Maundy Thursday worship, on Thursday, March 28, is a time when we remember the last night of Jesus life as we gather and remember the Last Supper. At the close of our Maundy Thursday worship service, in an act of solidarity with Christ, who leaves the Last Supper and heads for the cross, we will remove each of the elements from the altar one by one. This is a practice called “Stripping of the Altar”.  We will need about 15 people to take each of the elements off the altar, one at a time. You will be asked to come early that evening (6:00) to run through your part.

On Good Friday, March 29 at noon, we will be reading the crucifixion account as recorded in the gospel of Luke. This will take several Scripture readers. Thank you so much for participating in this powerful day. We do ask that Scripture readers show up an hour early to run through the readings. Contribute Food for the Easter Breakfast

What an amazing opportunity to fellowship as the sun rises on Easter morning! If you are able to contribute food for the Easter breakfast, that would be greatly appreciated! Items needed: egg bakes, french toast bakes, fruit, muffins, bagels & cream cheese, juice, milk, donut holes, and anything else that sounds good! Bring food in Saturday, March 30 from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. or anytime after 3:30 p.m. Contact Lisa with questions. Thanks so much!
