Start the Party

Continuing our VBS theme, let’s Start the Party! Jesus actually enjoyed some good parties with people. He partied with tax collectors, other outcasts; he partied at a wedding and on a hillside. In fact, he partied enough that his enemies accused him of being a glutton! Jesus also told stories about great kingdom parties. And when we think about it, we realize that even in Old Testament times, we can learn important truths about God and parties. As we prepare for a big party of our own (Family Fest), let’s learn God’s perspective on how to throw a great kingdom party!
